Sea-ing the Land by Kyra Lenting

Sea-ing the Land is a photography and short immersive movie exhibition by Kyra Lenting. The work is accompanyied by a coffee table book. The work explores the junction between land and the ocean through the lens of wave surfers in Australia. The art project is based on ethnographic fieldwork and furthermore discussed the combination of art and science through a multimedia approach. In short, the different media invite you to immerse yourself into a life by and in the sea and shows you the perspective of surfers riding their waves in crystal clear blue water. On November 4th we’re organizing a festive opening of the exhibition with a Q&A with the artist, drinks and snacks. You’re welcome from 20:00 and the official opening will be at 20:30, after which there will be enough time to look at the photography and the film, talk and spend time together. We can’t wait to see you all there and to enjoy this evening with everyone :)
